Brand and Part Number RFQ Identification
A brand name narrows the catalogue; the complete part number identifies the purchasing question. Both should remain visible throughout the RFQ path.
Keep the reference exact
Do not remove slashes, dashes, spaces or suffixes until the original reference has been recorded. Search normalization can help discovery, but the RFQ must preserve the buyer's source evidence.
A useful evidence package includes the manufacturer name, exact part number, quantity, equipment context, destination country and any available nameplate photo, drawing or datasheet.
Treat alternatives as an engineering review
A similar series or successor is not automatically interchangeable. Electrical ratings, dimensions, materials, certifications and environmental limits may need comparison.
